Thunderbird Star
The Thunderbird star is the command star of the Royal Corvax, utilizing a Mad dog H variant, a Solitaire standard version, Hellfire standard, Shadow Cat H variant, and a Nova H variant. This star is mostly comprised of the most experienced mechwarriors found in the Corvax, with the exception of the executive officer that commands Reaper Star.
This star comprises of the heaviest hitting and longest reaching weapons, while retaining an impressive amount of speed. The star is built around a mixture of mostly Heavy Laser technology and Long Range Missiles. Meaning that this star is deadly at most ranges, and feels comfortable at at all ranges as well. Capable of standing back and raining down fire on enemy units and covering both approach, and if necessary, withdraw of friendly units while retaining enough speed to move in and attack when neeeded.
The commanding officer of the entire unit commands from this star, and from the cockpit of the recognizable mad dog heavy mech also known as the Vulture.
If the Thunderbird star is considered the Rapier of the Corvax, then the Reaper star should be considered the bastard sword of the Corvax. Containing a Supernova 3 variant, Pouncer Prime variant, Adder prime variant, Battle Cobra B variant, and a Cougar B variant.
This star concentrates its punch around purely energy weapons, allowing it to be self sufficient and light on supply needs. Infact, every battlemech in this star's primary weapon systems are Extended Range Particle Projection Cannons, reflected in the fact that every single mech carries two of these weapons.
This star is commanded by the Royal Corvaxes executive officer Cilla Bavros Tulani
aka Merlin. This star's pilots are mostly the lesser experienced of the mechwarriors found in the Corvax, but are quickly gaining experience with the completion of contracts throughout the known galaxy.
